Join us Nov. 13 & 14 for the IBHS Annual Conference on Property Loss Reduction as we explore "Building Solutions through Science." This year's conference has been moved to Tampa, Fla. We will offer workshops, engaging speakers on a variety of topics important to the insurance industry, and discussions regarding the latest IBHS research. Agenda topics include discussions about the state of national building codes, property risks in the New Madrid Seismic Zone, an analysis of insurance losses from the Witch Creek Wildfire and the introduction of new peril-specific retrofit guidelines for existing buildings. The General Session will be held at the Tampa Convention Center. The conference hotel is the adjoining Embassy Suites. Make your reservation.

Committees will meet Nov. 12 at the convention center. The hotel will host the IBHS Executive Committee on Nov. 12 and the Board of Directors and Annual Meeting of Members on Nov. 13.

IBHS conference attendees are eligible for a special single-day admission rate and an IBHS discount if they sign up for the Nov. 13 session of ISO's E&S 2008 Loss Control Executive Forum, which will be held prior to the start of the IBHS conference.
