The Institute for Business & Home Safety's Disaster Investigation Team traveled to Central Florida to survey damage caused by a series of deadly tornadoes that tore across the state in February 2007. In addition to damage elsewhere, emergency management workers estimated 1,200 of 1,500 homes in The Villages retirement community were ravaged by the storm. The team focused on affected single family homes recently constructed in The Villages' Mallory Square subdivision.
