IBHS to Present PV Research at RICOWI Spring Seminar

As the first line of defense against Mother Nature, the roof is the most critical system in every building.  IBHS is actively engaged with the Roofing Industry Committee on Weather Issues (RICOWI) and will be speaking at their 2016 spring seminar March 11 at Orlando’s Rosen Shingle Creek Resort.

The theme of the seminar is “Roof Loads: A Weighty Topic,” which promises to be an exciting event featuring top researchers in the field. IBHS scientist Tim Johnston will give a presentation about original research conducted by IBHS about the effect of high winds on photovoltaic arrays (solar panels).
