IBHS conducts field research to study hailstorms with the goal of reducing property losses and improving weather forecast models and radar detection of hail. Additionally, IBHS conducts post-disaster investigations to better understand the characteristics of various storms for the purpose of reducing, and hopefully preventing future property damage.
